BiS Roadmap Update #15

Open-Sourcing the API, BRC20 Focus & bisDEX
Greetings, as we prepare for the next cycle, we are consolidating our focus on BRC20, Bitcoin-native trading infrastructure, and agentic systems.
To create space and bandwidth for what comes next, we are winding down several products and services that are no longer core to our roadmap.
1. BiS API services will be discontinued on May 18
For devs currently using our hosted API endpoints, we recommend beginning the migration process ahead of May 18.
Going forward, our focus is shifting from private API services to open-source infrastructure through OPI — Open Protocol Indexer. With OPI, developers and coding agents can now index Bitcoin inscriptions with ease, instead of relying on privately hosted API endpoints.
To stay aligned with crypto’s open-source culture, we will continue to open-source more of our infrastructure products.

2. Runes Support Discontinued
As part of our transition toward AI x Bitcoin, we are discontinuing all Runes-related products and services and focusing our efforts on BRC20 and Ordinals only.
3. Deprecating CLOB (Orderbook) Feature
As the first smart-contract powered BRC20 orderbook trading product, CLOB v0.1 was an important experiment. It helped us learn, but it did not meet the bar we set for ourselves.
Starting this week, CLOB features on the UI will be gradually deprecated.
- Users will no longer be able to open new limit-sell orders or buy from the old orderbook.
- Users with open limit-sell orders can cancel and claim their tokens from the smart contract.
Thank you to everyone who traded on CLOB v0.1 and gave us feedback.
Your addresses and trading activities are snapshotted and will contribute towards your bisDEX points.
What Remains Live
The following products and services will remain active:
- Ordinals Collection Tooling: snapshot features, Discord sales bot, and related collection tools
- Ordinal Lockers and trustless collection staking.
BiS Artifacts minting will close this summer, with the exact date to be announced alongside the tokenomics details. Locked Artifacts will continue to accumulate points as before.
What Comes Next
This summer, we are launching a new brand and product: bisDEX — the fastest Bitcoin DEX.
bisDEX will expand Bitcoin-native liquidity with multi-chain pairs, token/token pools, ORDI fee support, and stablecoin markets, while delivering a cleaner swap and trading experience with token incentives.
We will also introduce an open-source Wallet Kit purpose-built for agentic trading, as we continue adapting BiS around the new AI reality.
A more detailed bisDEX update — covering the rebrand, new features, token mechanics, and timelines — will follow soon.
Much gratitude to all our supporters,
Binari & BiS Team
